If you think you “might” receive a job offer from a company, but you haven’t received one yet, keep pushing! You never know. Most positions will have competition, even though it seems positive while you are interviewing with a potential employer, most likely there are other candidates competing for the position. My rule of thumb is, until you have a job offer, it’s not positive!
Keep pushing forward with your job search until you receive a job offer. The company that you “think” is going to make you a job offer could wait until they see more candidates or they could have additional delays for one reason or another. My point is, don’t wait around! You will be wasting valuable time if you do.
Too many people wait around thinking a certain company is going to make them a job offer. It could happen, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t want you to wait around and waste your time. What’s the worst thing that could happen if you keep pushing forward? Maybe another company will make you a job offer? Maybe you will receive two job offers before the company you “think” is going to make you a job offer does? Deal from strength not weakness. The more choices the better!
I want you to have more choices not less. What if this company you’re waiting for makes you a horrible job offer? What if they don’t make a job offer at all? I want you to take the attitude that companies better move on you, or they will lose out! And, guess what? You’re not waiting around, so if they like you, they better make you a job offer. Take control! Deal from strength not weakness! The more choices the better! So, keep pushing forward with your job search until you have a job offer! I hope this helps.
