Unemployment…Up! Economy…Down! Now What?

Seriously, what’s the alternative? Should we shrink? Should we hold back and stop looking for work? If you’re currently working should you stop being productive? Should you stop growing and learning? Should we all turn into losers now? I don’t think so! I’m not and you shouldn’t either.

Is the unemployment going to get worse? Yes. Is the economy going to get worse? Yes. If this is true, and it looks like it is, now what are you going to do? If you want to be successful then you must ignore the doomsayers. It’s that simple. You have to keep pushing forward and continue to grow in your life and career. Don’t shrink! Don’t quit! We need you!

There is a tremendous amount of negativity right now in the world. And it’s literally everywhere you look. Incompetent politicians. Bad economy. High Unemployment. More and more wars started each day. It seems like it’s never going to stop, doesn’t it? And, who knows, it might be awhile before the world gets back to some type of normalcy.

The only answer for you is to stay focused. Get rid of the negativity in your life. I am not advocating that you stick your head in the sand, but you have to realize the things you can control and the things you cannot control. You have more control over your life and career than you will ever realize, so take control!

I want you to keep fighting for that dream career you’ve always wanted. I want you to keep evaluating your life and what you want to do in your career. I want you to continue your job search. I want you to keep preparing for interviews. I want you to keep dreaming. Don’t let this time in our history throw you off your dreams. Stay on track with your goals. Don’t become a loser. Let others dwell on all of the negativity in the world.

So, yes, unemployment is up and the economy is down. If you’re asking, “Now what?” I’ll tell you what. You’re going to ignore it and become a very successful person…that’s what! I hope this helps.
